Hong Kong Disneyland 16-20th August 2010
Arriving Disneyland Day One. Not a Happy Camper. ( had a cough )
She brigtened up a bit on the Princess Carousel
The River Cruise. I really enjoyed it but Cahaya got pretty freaked out by the animals sprining out of the water, the hyenas, the fire and bubbling water, you name it!
Dumbo's Magic Ride ( she got the pink flying elephant that she whined about for the 45 mins we were in the queue.. )
Disneyland Day 2 - Princess Mania!
Cahaya completely freaked out meeting so many Princesses at one go ( what luck... as in the next 3 days , we never saw more than one at a time! )
Princesses Cahaya-rella and Snow Gaia making a wish at Snow White's Grotto
Meeting Cinderella and Prince Charming ... Cahaya was too shy and starstruck...
Meeting Donald Duck and having a spot of bubble time!
Images from another terrific stage show - The Golden Mickeys ( unfortunately it was in Cantonese - with a screen translation... however the cantonese was hysterical, Mickey was My-Kay and Minnie was My-Lay and Goofy was Goo-Fay.. etc... which more than made up for it not being in English )
The Mad Hatters Tea Party - The one ride I refused to go on... bad memories of being very ill in LA Disneyland as a child I did not want to revisit... turns out Cahaya doesn't have that problem thankfully.. being dizzy seems to be fun to a 3+ yr old!
Images from my all time favourite ride, 'Its A Small World'.. turns out Cahaya loved it too... we queued up for it 3 times! and even that was not enough for her!
A Blustery Day on The Winnie The Pooh Ride.. Cahaya not too impressed. This ride was already a bit young for her. I liked it though! Duhhh ;-)
Princesses Off To The Ball
Dinner at the Enchanted Garden in The Disneyland Hotel - the chance to meet all the characters. Expensive dinner, but worth it!
Mickey Mouse was the first Character they saw and boy were they excited!!!

9pm fireworks show... this picture does no justice. we were very far away... but it was beautiful and the castle was illuminated with a slide show
